Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s Uncle Freed By Kidnappers

Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s 72-year-old uncle, Mr. Inegite Jonathan, who was allegedly kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in Bayelsa state, has been released. A spokesperson for the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said:

“The victim has been released and reunited with his family but I am yet to get the detail.”

Ekiti Gov. Allegedly Got $37m To Rig 2014 State Election

 

There is a fresh allegation that the Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose got a whopping $37m from ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to rig the election that brought him into power. The allegation surfaced after the secretary of the Ekiti state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr.Temitope Aluko testified before the military panel that investigated the role of the military in the 2014 Ekiti election.
